Prices adjustment as of 1 August 2024
We are revising the prices of contracts valid until further notice as of 1 August 2024. The selling price of electricity consists of the energy price and the fixed fee. As of the beginning of August, the energy price will decrease and the fixed fee will increase. At a monthly level, our customers with an electricity contract that is valid until further notice will see a reduction in their electricity bills.
As of the beginning of August, the energy prices of electricity contracts valid until further notice will decrease by an average of 2.30 c/kWh (14%) and the fixed fees will be increased by about EUR 1.20 per month. The energy price adjustment is based on the fall in electricity procurement costs. The increase in the fixed fee, in turn, is affected by the increase in costs used to cover the operative expenses of electricity sales.
For example, the electricity bill of a typical customer living in an apartment building (annual consumption 2,000 kWh) will be about EUR 2.70 lower per month. The electricity bill of a typical customer living in a detached house not using electric heating (annual consumption 5,000 kWh) will be about EUR 8.50 lower per month. The electricity bill of a typical customer living in a detached house using electric heating (annual consumption 18,000 kWh) will be about EUR 34 lower per month. The prices include VAT 24%.
The price adjustment applies to Consumption Electricity, Basic Electricity, Basic Electricity (2-rate), Environmental Electricity, Wind Power and Power Electricity contracts.
An electricity contract valid until further notice is an easy, carefree choice that is perfect for apartments, holiday homes and small businesses. The energy price in the contract remains steady, taking into account seasonal fluctuations in the electricity market. Contracts valid until further notice can be terminated with a period of notice of fourteen (14) days.
