Carbon-free – terms and conditions of the additional service contract

Carbon-free is an additional service contract that updates the electricity delivered on the basis of Helen's electricity contract to be 100 % nuclear power The origin of the electricity supplied according to the contract is verified in accordance with the European Guarantee of Origin system.

1. VALIDITY AND TERMINATION OF THE CONTRACT

The Carbon-free additional service contract is valid until further notice. The Customer has the right to terminate the contract with a 14-day period of notice and Helen has the right to terminate the contract with a 30-day period of notice. Helen has the right to revoke the additional service contract if the Customer has substantially violated its contractual payment obligations or contractual obligations and the violation has not been rectified within a reasonable amount of time specified in writing by Helen. The Carbon-free additional service contract does not replace the Customer's actual electricity contract. At the end of the Customer's electricity contract, the additional service contract also expires. When concluding the contract, Helen has the right to check the Customer's credit rating. If there are deficiencies in the credit rating, Helen may require the Customer to provide an acceptable security or prepayment in order to secure its claims.

2. PRICE OF THE ADDITIONAL SERVICE AND APPLICATION OF DATA IN INVOICING

The current monthly fee for the Carbon-free additional service at the time, as well as the price of energy (c/kWh), are invoiced in connection with the electricity bill.

3. AMENDMENTS TO TERMS OF CONTRACT AND PRICES

The price and contractual terms of Carbon-free are valid until further notice. The price valid at any given time can be found at helen.fi/renewable-and-carbon-free. Helen has the right to change prices by notifying the Customer 30- days before the change takes effect at helen.fi/renewable-and-carbon-free.

Helen may amend the terms of contract by informing the customer 30- days before the amendment enters into force. Helen reserves the right to announce these changes primarily electronically.

4. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Carbon-free additional service contract can be made for consumer customers. The customer’s consent to using Oma Helen is a precondition for drawing up the Carbon-free contract
