With the Renewable or Carbon-free additional service, you can update the origin of energy for your electricity contract to 100% renewable or 100% nuclear power, certified with a guarantee of origin. Purchasing the additional service for your electricity contract is an easy way for you to take climate action by reducing your carbon footprint with regard to your electricity consumption.
The Renewable or Carbon-free additional service is available for any new or existing electricity contract with Helen in which the origin is of the electricity is mixed electricity. The contract is valid until further notice.

Renewable is an additional service that enables you to update the origin of energy in your electricity contract to energy produced from renewable energy sources. With the Renewable additional service, your electricity is produced as a combination of 100% renewable hydro, wind and solar power with guarantees of origin. The price of the additional service consists of the monthly basic fee, the energy price of the guarantees of origin and the margin.
The contract is valid until further notice and it can be terminated with 14 days’ notice. The additional service can be purchased for any Helen electricity contract in which the origin of the electricity is mixed electricity.

Carbon-free is an additional service that enables you to update the origin of energy in your electricity contract to energy produced from nuclear power. With the Carbon-free additional service, your electricity is produced with 100% nuclear power with guarantees of origin. The price of the additional service consists of the monthly basic fee, the energy price of the guarantees of origin and the margin.
The contract is valid until further notice and it can be terminated with 14 days’ notice. The additional service can be purchased for any Helen electricity contract in which the origin of the electricity is mixed electricity.
Next, you will be asked to verify your identity using your online banking credentials or mobile certificate. By verifying your identity, you confirm invoicing as the payment method. The service will be invoiced retrospectively based on your actual energy consumption.
