Terms of contract for Renewable Energy
Renewable Energy is value added service, that updates the electricity to be supplied on the basis of the selected Helen’s electricity contract into 100% renewable energy. The origin of electricity supplied according to the contract is verified in accordance with the European Guarantee of Origin system.
1. Duration and cancellation of the contract
Renewable Energy is valid until further notice. The customer has the right to cancel the contract with two week’s notice and Helen has the right to cancel the contract with one month’s notice. Helen has the right to cancel the additional service contract if the Customer has been in material breach of their payment or contractual obligations based on the contract and the breach of contract has not been rectified within the reasonable period notified by Helen in writing. Renewable Energy does not replace the Customer’s actual electricity contract. This contract will also expire when the Customer’s electricity contract expires.
2. Price of the additional service and applying the data in invoicing
The monthly fee and c/kWh price of Renewable Energy valid at any given time is invoiced in connection with the electricity bill.
3. Changes to the terms of contract and prices
The impact on the contract price as a result of changes in taxes, public charges and other fees comparable to them is taken into account immediately when they enter into force. The service provider shall notify the customer of their impact on pricing as soon as it becomes aware of the change.
The price and terms of contract of Renewable Energy are valid until further notice. The price valid at any given time is available at the address helen.fi/companies/electricity/renewable-energy. Helen has the right to change the prices by notifying the customer of them 2 weeks before the change takes place at the address helen.fi/companies/electricity/renewable-energy.
Helen may amend the terms of contract by notifying the customer of the changes 2 weeks before they enter into force. Helen reserves the right to notify of these changes primarily by email or text message or, alternatively, the notification can be sent to the customer's invoicing address.
4. Other terms and conditions
Renewable Energy can be drawn up for a business customer. This contract is primarily governed by these terms, followed by the terms of electricity sales for Helen’s business contracts, and after that by the general terms of electricity sales and supply effective at the time (SME 2014 and STE 2019 are valid at the time of drawing up the contract).
