Additional information
The pricing of the Exchange Electricity Enterprise contract consists of a basic fee and an energy price.
The energy price is determined hourly based on the realized hourly market price on the electricity exchange, to which a margin is added. The energy price is set individually for each hour of the day, meaning that the invoiced price is based on the company's or housing association's energy consumption during that specific hour. Controlling electricity usage can impact the electricity bill by utilizing hours when the energy price is lower.
The basic fee of the electricity contract is a fixed monthly charge that is independent of the amount of electricity consumed. You can check the current base fee in the contract details, available on our Yritys Helen service.
Business prices are VAT-exempt (0% VAT).
On the invoice, you will see the realized average price for the month. In a month, there are approximately 720 hours, each with its own price. Therefore, these prices are not individually displayed on the invoice. The average price is calculated by weighting each hour's price with the energy consumption during that hour.
You can view your company's or housing association's actual consumption and a summary of the realized cost on the electricity bill.
In Yritys Helen, you can track your electricity usage down to an hourly level and conveniently manage matters related to your contract. The service is free.
